August 7, 2018
Good afternoon B.E.S.T. Members,
Voting is arguably the most critical way we can be involved in our communities. Unfortunately, only 45% of all registered voters in the Round Lake Area cast a ballot in the last Midterm Election. As a result, the Round Lake Area had the third lowest voter turnout in Lake County in 2014.
Each of our votes can make a big difference locally and our community needs more engaged, empowered, civic-minded citizens who vote. The Round Lake Area B.E.S.T. Coalition's Voter Engagement Committee is seeking volunteers to help make a difference in increasing voter turnout in the upcoming November Midterm election.
Join us! We need YOU to volunteer to ensure we meet our goal of increasing voter turnout. For more information, please contact Sandy Diaz of Mano a Mano.
Sincerely,
The Voter Engagement Committee of the Round Lake Area B.E.S.T. Coalition:
